胃薬　胃炎用（Gastritis）

胃の粘膜を保護して、胃炎や胃潰瘍の治りをよくします。また、鎮痛薬など他の薬による胃の荒れを予防します。

This medicine protects the mucous membrane of the stomach, healing the stomach from gastritis and gastric ulcers. It will also prevent irritations in the stomach caused by analgesics or other medicines.

1.  【診察で】腎臓病など持病のある人は医師に伝えてください。
   1. (During consultation): Please tell your doctor if you have any kidney disease or other chronic diseases.
2. 【注意する人】透析を受けている人には用いません。また、重い腎臓病の人も、長期服用は避けたほうがよいでしょう。腎臓の働きが悪いと、アルミニウムが体にたまり、中毒を起こすおそれがあるためです。
   1. Warning/Contraindications: It must not be used by people undergoing treatments of dialysis. People with severe kidney diseases should also abstain from taking it for long periods of time. If the kidney isn’t working properly, aluminum may accumulate in the body, causing poisoning.
3. 【用法】：通常、成人１回　１～１．２ｇずつ、１日３回経口投与する。年齢、症状により適宜増減する。
   1. Usage: A typical dose for adults consists of taking orally from 1 to 1.2 g each time, three times per day. The dose may increase depending on age or severity of the symptoms.
4. 【特徴】：胃酸に対する「防御因子増強薬」です。とくに、この薬は臨床試験での実績があり、海外でも高く評価されています。
   1. Features: This medicine features a “protective factor” against gastric acid. In particular, it has been highly acclaimed in clinical trials abroad.
5. 【副作用】安全性の高いお薬です。副作用はほとんどありません。人によっては、便秘がちになることがあります。長期服用時、とくに腎臓の悪い人や高齢の人は、アルミニウム中毒（アルミニウム脳症、アルミニウム骨症、貧血）に念のため注意が必要です。
   1. Side effects: This is a highly safe medicine, and there are almost no side effects. Nevertheless, depending on the person it may cause constipation. When taken over long periods of time, people of old age and/or people with kidney problems in particular must take with caution, since it may cause aluminum poisoning (aluminum encephalopathy, aluminum bone disease, anemia).
